K & Summer with Miss Stacey Woods
K & Summer with Miss Stacey Woods
Get ready for an unforgettable night as K & Summer (Sudbury’s queer indie pop sensation) teams up with Miss Stacey Woods (the city’s fiercest drag queen and activist) for a dazzling evening of music, performance, and unapologetic queer joy! Stacey will bring her signature wit and glamour, while K & Summer’s dreamy synths and anthemic pop-rock tracks keep the crowd dancing. Together, they’ll serve up a celebration of love, authenticity, and loud, proud self-expression—don’t miss it!
K & Summer: K & Summer is a queer indie pop project created by Sudbury songwriter Kristen Brutto. It’s all about the vibes! Start with a sea of colourful lights and guitars soaked in reverb to create a nostalgic 90’s feel performed by a 5-piece synth rock band. With songs like “I Like Her More” conveying the exhilaration and bliss of recognizing your worth and choosing to love authentically, and “The Reveal” which blatantly disses the absurdity of gender reveal parties and encourages 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals to seek out the ones who will accept them as they are, K & Summer’s new album The Good With the Bad delivers harsh truths of love and loss in queer relationships under the cover of rocking licks and danceable bops! Check it out on Spotify!
Miss Stacey Woods: You might recognize her as the host of Eastlink Community TV’s “Queens & Conversation”, Stacy Woods is the self-proclaimed Queen of Sudbury, and Local Celebrity. With a passion for performance and a flair for the dramatic, Stacy lights up the stage with her larger-than-life personality and jaw-dropping looks. Known for her loud mouth and inability to shut up, Stacy is a force to be reckoned with in the drag community. Offstage, Stacy is a fierce advocate for equality and social justice. As a proud member of the 2S-LGBTQIA+ community, she uses her platform to speak out against discrimination and fight for the rights of all marginalized groups. Whether she’s raising awareness for important causes, making speeches, or talking to politicians, Stacy is always at the forefront of the fight for a more inclusive and accepting society. With a closet full of glittering gowns, a heart full of love, and a voice that demands to be heard, Stacy Woods is a queen who knows how to slay both on and off the stage.
Time: Doors 7:30PM, show @ 8PM
Location: Sudbury Indie Cinema Co-op, 162 MacKenzie St

An evening for the adults!

We are so excited to be hosting some really amazing acts:
- Océane Aqua-Black, from Canada’s Drag Race Season II—serving curves, charisma, and pure chaos! Fearless and unfiltered, a French Canadian Drag Performer hailing from Montreal, she will stun you with dance, comedy, and jaw-dropping glamour.
- Dahlia Doll, formerly known as Miss Shay Dee from season 2 of Call Me Mother, is a Mexican-Canadian drag performer guaranteed to leave you in stitches. Live Singing, Camp, Dancing Diva! She brings a unique flare to every show!
- Jenna Seppa – All the way from Sturgeon Falls, ON, here’s your franco-ontarienne drag queen and DJ extraordinaire, Jenna Seppa!
Making her drag debut in 2018 in Toronto, ON, she has since graced the stage all over the province and Canada. Jenna’s style transports the audience through a time distorting journey of the senses all while acting a fool and proving that *dumb* is hot. What does she do, exactly? Je ne sais pas! (But you love it)
- Carmen Dior – Fresh off dazzling stages across the globe, Carmen Dior is bringing her signature glamour, razor-sharp wit, and show-stopping performances back to where it all began. This hometown queen has evolved into an international powerhouse, serving amazing looks and performances that ignite every crowd.
- Lust On Mars with “Cheerleader”. Queerness cannot be denied in this high energy cheerleading fantasy – an ode to the 1999 cult classic film “But I’m a Cheerleader”.
- Talon Schneider with “Sweet Transvestite”. Campy and fun drag king act of a truly iconic character. A mix of feminine and masculine with a pride flag cape reveal and more!
- Minnie with “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”. Where a goofy and upbeat impersonation of Richard Simmons meets burlesque. Rhinestoned pride colour reveals, aerobics, and audience interaction!
- Glitter Glue is an 5-piece Art-Pop-rock band, fronted by Trin, whose powerhouse voice commands every stage. Glitter-drenched and unapologetic, their sound is explosive, a messy, electrifying dive from calm to chaos. Glitter glue’s music is for overthinkers, drama queens, and anyone who thrives on making bad choices.
