October 23rd - Our bodies are a site of resistance: Radical embodiment at every intersection
Our bodies are a site of resistance: Radical embodiment at every intersection
We will have a community session on fat activisms, racialized and queer embodiment, and creative self and community care for collective liberation. Our bodies hold and remember experiences of violence, survival, and joy. In this session, we will explore how fat, racialized, and queer bodies are sites of resistance within systems that constantly demand erasure, discipline, and/or silence.
Please note: This session requires registration to ensure we have an adequate amount of supplies for each participant.
Come as you are. Let’s resist, create, and reclaim space together!
Session Agenda
- What is Fat 101
- Discussion on racism, queer identities, and healthcare violence
- Healing and re-imagining – let’s get creative!

November 20th - Transgender day of remembrance
Transgender Day of Remembrance
Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
This year we will gather to mourn those that we have lost and reflect on the work that is still needed to ensure safety and equality for all trans and gender diverse people.
