2Spirit & Indigiqueer Crafting event - Bolo ties!

Join us for an evening centering 2Spirit and Indigiqueer folks. Leisha will be sharing how to make beaded bolo ties. Connect with community members and learn a new skill or meet some new friends.

There will be refreshments and snacks. Everyone is welcome.

Big Gay Bike Ride and In The Closet Film Screening

2 events in 1 night! Choose one or both!

The big gay bike ride!

Come join us and feel the wind in your hair for a short bike ride around downtown. Bring any wheels that feel good for you: bike, scooter, roller skates, wheel chair, anything at all. Feel free to stick around for the film screening starting at 7PM!

In The Closet film screening (in partnership with Sudbury Indie Cinema)
Yes, they’re in a literal closet, but these non-binary artists are anything but closeted. Ajahnis Charley hosts a hilarious and intimate docu-series that isn’t afraid to wear its heart on its drop sleeves.

Co-hosted with Black Lives Matter – Sudbury and the Social Work department of Laurentian University.

We are teaming up again with Nickel City Trivia to offer Queer Trivia during Pride Week 2026. There will be prizes, laughter and skill testing questions – what more could you ask for?!?

Accessibility notes: Hosted outside beside Dilly Dally. There is a ramp to go inside of Dilly Dally, however there is no button to enter and the washroom is quite small and also does not have a button to open the door.

Join us for the annual 2S-LGBTQIA+ Youth Pride Prom on Friday, July 17th, 2026. This year we are happy to announce that Jenna Seppa will be joining us for the night! She’s your franco-ontarienne drag queen and DJ extraordinaire, the hostess with your focus, crash landing from Sturgeon Falls, it’s Jenna Seppa!

Get ready for a night of dancing, taking pictures with your friends at the photo booth, and wear whatever you feel comfortable in! This event is for 2S-LGBTQIA+ teens and allies ages 14-18.

Presented by Fierté Sudbury Pride, in partnership with Le Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury. Sponsored by Compass, Youth Wellness Hub, Beard’s Coffee Bar and Bakery, and the City of Greater Sudbury.

When: Friday, July 17th starting @ 6:30pm (over by 11pm!)
Location: Place De Arts, 27 Larch Street
Food: Pizza (gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options), cupcakes (donated by Beard’s Coffee Bar And Bakery), veggies and fruit, and some pop!
Ages: This event is for teens ages 14-18.

Pride Block Party! Vendor Fair and March

A Family-Friendly Block Party – Vendor fair!

Join us for some games, workshops and vendors on Larch Street (between Elgin St and Durham St). More details will be added soon!

The vendor fair will be followed by the Sudbury Pride March @4:30pm!

As violence and hatefulness towards the 2S-LGBTQIA+ community is on the rise, we continue to show up and push back. Join us while we march for visibility and to show the resilience of our 2S-LGBTQIA+ community in Sudbury. We will not be silenced.

Hosted by the wonderful Cosmic Creme (burlesque extraordinaire) and featuring fierce hip hop sets by Haviah Mighty and Lex Leosis, along with drag by Canada’s Drag Race season 6 contestants Karamilk and Johnny Jones, and Dahlia Doll From Season 2 of Call Me Mother! Enjoy local performers Talon Schneider, Missy Motional and Honey-Moon Aerial!

Pride Beach Day & Open Mic

Join us for a family friendly beach day to close Pride Week 2026! You are welcome to swim (city lifeguards are on duty), check out the open mic organized by Anaphore, or play some games organized by Compass.

When: Sunday, July 19th starting @ 2pm
Location: Nepahwin Beach, 1742 Paris Street, Sudbury
Ages: All ages
Cost: Free
Accessibility: Wheelchair friendly, sandy near the beach (grassy areas in the shade as well).
